Far away from civilization, there lives a small, religious town. Jakov and Petunia, like the rest of the population, attends church daily. But after they come face-to-face with the very thing their religion opposes, they start to uncover the real story of EGAOS and begin to ask more questions about their situation.

JAKOV

The protagonist of our story. A very hyper boy who never gets tired. Jakov has no inside voice and often says insensitive things to others without realizing. He doesn't care what people think about him.

MASHA

Jakov's baby sister. Despite not being able to talk or walk, she's extremely intelligent, surpassing Jakov by a landslide. Masha dreams of taking over the world and has already devised a few blueprints for it...

PETUNIA

Petunia is a docile skunk who lives with her very large family. While kind, she has a bit of a short temper and is easy to anger. She's a bit of a scaredy-cat and usually needs some convincing from Jakov to go on adventures.

DEMMIE

Called "Demmie" by the other three, he’s a one-eyed dog that Masha found in the woods on one of their adventures. In reality, Demmie is a sadistic demon who feeds off of suffering. Tends to take care of Masha when Jakov and the babysitter forget to.

AETHELTHRYTH

An erratic and spontaneous monster that claims to be a demon. It's almost impossible to track her thought process in most situations. Visits to cause chaos or check up on Demmie. Constance often gives her trouble for it.

CONSTANCE HIRAANI

Tasked with eradicating any demons that set foot on Earth. She is practical, strict, and often serious, though still has a strong sense of humor and likes to make deadpan jokes that amuse no one but herself.

ROOKIE CRAWFURRED

Police officer. Despite being inexperienced, he was swiftly forced to become the new head officer after the previous chief was killed. Rookie was entrusted with the role of leader despite his co-workers being much more viable, but he really is trying to be the best boss he can.

KENNIE MACGRIFFIN

Trusted to babysit Jakov and Masha while their father is away. He's a big bully, but is actually very sweet to Jakov and Masha, since they find him cool and they're still very young. He likes bragging about himself to the kids, but he usually makes up stories about himself to make him seem cooler or more noble than he actually is.

NELSON OMALLON

Petunia's cousin with whom she has a close relationship. Despite being a skunk, Nelson is a HUGE germophobe. He refuses to take off his gloves or mask, and if he so much as touches a speck of dirt, he will immediately rush to the nearest sink and vigorously wash it off.

CRACKERS MACGRIFFIN

Jakov's teacher. Crackers is a very shy lady who doesn't like being the center of attention, so she almost always covers herself with her wings. She's easily frightened. Crackers' biggest pet peeve is others talking over her, and she becomes irrationally angry if it happens.

KEIRA YOU-FENG

She's really uptight and always gives her classmates a hard time. Her town is very fond of religion, but Keira seems to have taken it a step too far, and thinks being two minutes late to church is deserving of a month long jail sentence. She ends up pestering Jakov a lot, since he's a slacker.

LIAM SUSUKI

Susu is Jakov's classmate, and he thinks Jakov is just a bald monkey. He's slower-speaking than the others, and it doesn't seem like he knows how to convey emotions, but he's actually mostly liked by his classmates because of his friendly personality and creative worldview.

WULFE KARI

Really immature. She finds crude and shocking things funny, and thinks the coolest thing you can do is be really hardcore and mean. Wulfe enjoys high-risk behavior because it makes her feel alive, but she also has a safer hobby of drawing characters... she's pretty bad, but she's trying.

LITTLE CAIRO

Always plays hookie. Instead of going to school, he plays hookie, and is part of a group of kids who don't believe in EGAOSISM. Dislikes talking to people unless they are a part of his group. Refuses to take off his arm sling.

DRIBBLE CAIRO

A soft-spoken, somewhat egotistical high-schooler. Although cocky, he's still approachable enough to be seen as a good and mature kid by a lot of residents. He uses his ears as bandages for a head injury, and does not like "untying" them.

HOWARD HOWEY

Howie is a delinquent youth who likes to cause trouble with the police for no other reason but because he thinks it will make him cool. Speaking of, he tries a bit too hard to be cool, which circles back into people thinking he's lame.

SHALIQUE COSTA

A hamster and high school student. Being a hamster, Leek is adorable and is well aware of it, sometimes playing up the cuteness factor when he thinks he's in trouble. He can be perky to an almost annoying degree, and likes to use internet slang while talking in-person.

GABRIEL BURNS

Another of Jakov's classmates, and one he finds really confusing. Likes to be formal at all times, which seeps into his speech patterns and just confuses Jakov with big words. Gabriel can also be a bit selfish, and considers his opinions to be the objectively right ones.

ZEE MUUS

A very excitable girl. She prefers to follow what other people say rather than form her own identity. Suprisingly shy around stangers, but very hyper around friends. Hopelessly devoted to Yello, but he won't even give her the time of day.

MATEO MAMANI

While officially employed as a janitor, Mateo's real passion is magic tricks. When his shift is over, Mateo will usually spend an hour or more outdoors doing tricks for donations. He never really gets money, though-- Nobody cares about magic anymore. For now, he's stuck as a janitor.

OAKLEY MATTHEWS

The Matthews middle child, with Petunia being the youngest. Oakley is a troublemaker who never backs down or apologizes, even if he knows he's wrong, because he doesn't wanna be seen as a pushover. Whenever he goes outside, he always comes back with a black eye.

IRIS MATTHEWS

She's a wannabe programmer who busies herself with various projects and is currently working on a lot of them at once. Petunia's older sister and the eldest child of the Matthews family. She's rather reclusive and doesn't like to hold conversation.

THE PRIEST

Teaches the residents of EGAOSISM. Because children know less, they are required to visit church at least once a day. Adults visit at least once a week.
No one knows the priest's exact species. There's debate on whether he is a rabbit or a duck.

MISS KIBBLES

Real name Nancy Crawfurred. Lives in a dumpster and claims to be a doctor, which nobody believes. She's an eccentric and crazy old lady, but she's always open for a friendly conversation. Just be prepared for a lot of unrelated comments and conspiracy theories.
